We proposed these main keywords as our initial concept.

Regarding the appearance of apes, I was concerned from the beginning that there was a risk that it might be seen as discriminatory, but it was not my intention at all to liken the apes to people; I simply had the image of creatures of different ages having a home party.

However, I was concerned that the message might be conveyed in a way that was different from my intention, so I checked with the staff and made sure to follow up and supervise in advance the nuances of the special makeup, costumes, and acting, but I would like to offer my deepest apologies to anyone who was offended by the main subject matter.

It was never our intention to create discriminatory content or to justify a tragic history, but the main cause of this is a lack of consideration on our part, as we did not point out all the possibilities and come up with a different idea for what the above keywords might evoke when they are connected by lines in a way that was different from our intention.

We began production with the keyword "Columbus 's Egg" in mind, and we recognize that our desire to create a positive, exciting film led us to neglect consideration of the risks involved, which ended up having an impact.

The story I intended to develop did not have a historical timeline, and I wanted to portray apes as ancestors of humans. And I had a home party that transcended the boundaries of time.

This is an impossible story and is a purely fictional film.

However, we take seriously the criticism that the MV was reminiscent of a certain historical event, and are deeply reflecting on it.

We are truly sorry for this inconvenience.

To prevent this kind of thing from happening again in the future, we will take great care and strive to be sincere and diligent in our expression.
