Changing your smartphone model

I'm considering low-cost plans from three carriers, including "ahamo" and "Y!mobile." Are there any procedures I need to follow?

A. It depends on the payment method used by each carrier. Please check below.

■ For docomo users
You can continue to use "d Pay" with the Docomo rate plans "ahamo/irumo."

If you are using "d Pay" to register for this site and change to "ahamo", your payment registration will remain valid and you will be able to continue using the site.

※Note

・You cannot use carrier email addresses (@docomo.ne.jp) with Docomo's new pricing plans "ahamo/irumo."
・If you register on this site using a carrier email address, you will no longer receive notifications from the site, such as email newsletters, so please change your email address from MY PAGE.

About irumo
If you are considering switching to NTT Docomo's new "irumo" pricing plan, which is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2023, please see below.
・You can continue to use "d Pay" with Docomo's new pricing plan "irumo."
・If you are currently using "d Pay" to register for this site and change to "irumo", your payment registration will continue and you will be able to continue using the site, but you will not be able to use "sp mode payment".
*For details, please contact docomo.
・If you apply for the "Docomo Mail Option" at the same time as changing your contract to Docomo's new rate plan "irumo", you can continue to use your carrier email address (@docomo.ne.jp).
・If you apply for the "docomo Mail Option" at any time after signing up for "irumo", or if you do not apply for the "docomo Mail Option", you may not be able to use your carrier email address (@docomo.ne.jp) or you may not be able to transfer it.

■ For au users
"au Easy Payment" cannot be used with the au rate plan "povo2.0."
Customers who signed up for "povo" ("povo1.0") before "povo2.0" was released can continue to use the service without any further action being required.

※Note
・If a customer using "au Easy Payment" changes to "povo2.0", their membership will be automatically canceled.
・You cannot use carrier email addresses (@au.com/@ezweb.ne.jp) with the au rate plan "povo."
・If you register on this site using a carrier email address, you will no longer receive notifications from the site, such as email newsletters, soplease change your email address from MY PAGE.

■ For SoftBank users
After March 3, 2022, if you transfer your mobile phone number between the SoftBank, Y!mobile, and LINEMO brands, you can continue to use it.

※Note
・You cannot use carrier email addresses (@i.softbank.jp/@softbank.ne.jp/@vodafone.ne.jp) with LINEMO.
・If you register on this site using a carrier email address, you will no longer receive notifications from the site, such as email newsletters, so please change your email address from MY PAGE.
